My appointment was made for Wednesday, 7/8 at 7:30am and I was told it would be a 12-hour job and I could pick car up sometime the next day. On Thursday evening, 7/9, I was told that "it would be next week." I asked if there as problem and was told it was just pulled into the shop. So that meant that my car had just been sitting on the lot while I'm trying to figure out how to get to work and back home. What is the point in making an appointment if you're going to be treated like a walk-in? I told Emily I would be picking up my car because I couldn’t be without a car that long especially if it was just sitting. She said I would lose my place in line. So that means that an appointment only puts you in line not ensure that your car will be worked on at that time. She said if a car was available I could pay $15 a day. Absolutely not! Especially since she told me the tech doesn't work on Saturday and Bale is closed on Sunday. So that would have been at least two days when no one was even available to work on my car. So after a little back and forth she agreed to keep my place in line and said I could bring it back on Monday, 7/13 at 7:00am. When I spoke with her on Monday and asked her if my car would just be sitting again, she snapped "I don't know we just got her andf I don't know what's going on yet." By Wednesday 7/15, they still were not finished and after speaking with the manager I got a courtesy car. I guess after this they felt it was no rush because I didn’t get my car until 7/22. There were scratches on the plate around the vents. Scratches in tint. Oil on carpeted area around door and the absolute worse part was my back seat floors were completely FILTHY. No one has ever been in my back seats as there is not really a back seat in a Camaro. My floors were as clean as when I drove the car off the lot almost 10 years ago and now they look as if I hauled oily, dirty car parts back there. What happened to putting some kind of covering down when doing these type of jobs so this won’t happen? I asked this question to two of the techs and didn’t receive an answer for either. I looked in my trunk and there was a weather strip that had apparently been left off. My car was taken back down to the shop and brought back but I have no idea where it was put back on or if it was put on somewhere. I don’t really care about everything they did but I do want my vent plate and my floors clean like they were when I brought it in. I was told this would happen once the vent part came in so as of today, 6/28 I am still waiting with no update. I guess I will have to call to find out. Emily has the attitude of “it is what it is”. No compassion for the customer’s situation. In one conversation with her she started eating/chewing on something and I could just picture her rolling her eyes while stuffing her mouth listening to me and hoping I would finish so she could get off the phone. Another call I made I pressed the numbers to get to the service department and was holding while the music was playing and then all of a sudden Emily’s voicemail picks up. I wondered how did I get transferred to the very tech’s voicemail that I was calling for, even though I hadn’t spoken to anyone. I told the manager about this and his response was, “that was strange”. Yes, it was but it happened. While they did give me a coutesy car, the overall experience was horrible and I pray that when I go back they will take better care of my car and not just be focused on what they are trying to fix and mess up something else. Conversations with a few friends and several of them had bad stories about Bale. I hoped for the best but I now have a story.
